    A healthcare publishing company based in central London is looking for a Grants Administrator to work within the Grants Team to seek funding for online educational projects and support expansion of knowledge in different disease areas.

    The role offers varied, interesting and fast-paced work within a high-performing, stimulating and supportive environment. You will be working with the Senior Grants Administrator to research and administer grant submissions; research upcoming medical congresses in current and new disease areas; as well as research current Phase III clinical trials in each disease field to keep the team and website up to date.

    Your main responsibilities will be to :-

    •Research and identify grant opportunities for the family of journals

    •Write and administer grant submissions, ensuring that submissions are in accordance with the qualification criteria

    •Coordinate generation of additional information required for submissions from the editorial team

    •Research specific criteria, such as Moore’s Levels for CME, where there will be an impact on editorial practices.

    •Ensure financial flow for grants

    •Research current phase III trials in each disease field to keep the team and website up to date

    •Research up-and-coming influencers in each disease field to keep the team up to date for interviews

    •Plan and manage award entries

    We are looking someone with a flexible can-do approach, self-motivation and a willingness to learn and able to take real ownership of your work. The ideal candidate will have excellent research, organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work on a variety of tasks at the same time whilst maintaining high standards, including coping with busy periods and tight deadlines. You will have a degree, excellent verbal and written communication skills, rigorous QA skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail and confidence in dealing with a wide variety of people. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office platforms (Word, Office, Excel, PowerPoint), social media platforms, databases in reporting and keen to learn new digital skills. Some previous experience applying for grants would be advantageous. Most of all, we are looking for someone with a flexible can-do approach, self-motivation and a willingness to learn.

    YOU MUST HAVE A SCIENTIFIC DEGREE, BACKGROUND OR QUALIFICATION FOR THIS ROLE AS IT REQUIRES IN DEPTH KNOWLWDGE OF THE BUSINESS.
