A great opportunity has arisen for an Editor to join a highly successful healthcare communications agency based in Amersham. The agency has doubled in size in the last 2-years and in 2021 has had a really good year, winning several pieces of new business - it has also doubled its income. They pride themselves on the quality of the work that they produce based on developing a real understanding of a brand’s priorities and how it translates into the medical education industry. The agency’s core offerings are based in medical communications disciplines such as KOL development, advisory boards, symposia and satellite symposia planning and management, healthcare media relations, stand alone publications and a variety of bespoke, print and production projects.

This last year or so has seen their MedComms Editorial team expand from five to seven and they need to move to ten ASAP. The candidate we are looking for is likely to have two or more years of medical editing experience and can provide support on both the compliance management of materials such as slides, speaker briefs, materials to promote meetings etc, but also the broader editorial skills traditionally associated with this role. The successful candidate will be someone who is well versed in referencing scientific materials and using PowerPoint, preferably with hands on experience of Veeva and other compliance software.

In addition to their own editorial responsibilities, Editors here also provide a second line of quality control for the agency’s Editorial Assistants5
