This is key role within an established digital division of a renowned global healthcare communications agency based in the West-Central London area. The Digital Strategist provides consistent thinking, around the strategic design, implementation and performance of a variety of consumer-facing applications. The Digital Strategist is able to develop for most of today’s platforms including the web, mobile technologies, and stand-alone applications. This key role is ultimately responsible for ensuring the highest standard within the healthcare digital arena. The Digital Strategist therefore needs to demonstrate self-motivation, resourcefulness, leadership skills and the desire to keep this agency at the forefront of creative digital medical communications by constantly updating core skills and techniques.
The role will be to develop, present and coordinate the delivery of innovative digital strategies for our clients; direct the creation and production of all client and internal digital materials; lead digital components of pitches and proposals, and deliver pitch presentations; ensure quality digital solutions are delivered on time and within budget; foster an environment that is conducive to creative development of digital solutions and production of high quality digital products; liaise with other leads to ensure constant flow of information and resource exchange; constantly update skills and knowledge so that this agency is at the forefront of creative digital thinking and execution in healthcare communications; develop technical solutions that map to user and business requirements and deliver value for the needs of the engagement/client; maintain a strong awareness of the regulatory issues and best practice in healthcare communications that affect digital and design; build rapport with internal IT personnel and external hosts to obtain the best service for clients.
For this role you should be able to demonstrate the ability to conceptualise and explain technical solutions to internal and client personnel – client-facing exposure is critical; the ability to think creatively within deadlines, to adapt quickly and be flexible in the face of changing priorities; ensure digital projects are commercially viable and sustainable; the ability to understand digital briefs fully and ensure work delivered is on-brief; strong technical knowledge of web technologies, mobile technologies, desktop applications, etc; the ability to work closely with team members from other departments to implement solutions and solve problems; energy, commitment and drive and exceptional attention to detail on all final digital work
