This client is a top international PR agency servicing some of the best-known brands in the world. Although their craft is public relations, their business is all about brand marketing and they are looking for an Account Manager to join their healthcare PR team in Central London. As an Account Director you provide a vital role within the team structure, utilising your established PR skills to drive day-to-day account handling and project management while managing individual workloads via your team. You are the ultimate point of contact for your clients, ensuring objectives and deadlines are met and also providing counsel and strategic advice. You will be responsible for leading activity implementation across key global accounts, as well as playing an active role in the day to day running of the broader practice. A willingness and ability to drive campaign and client management, be a primary relationship holder with key media, ensure account profitability and coach junior team members will be essential to the role. Equally as important is an entrepreneurial spirit and strong desire to work as part of an already strong team, ensuring the continued success of the practice following an outstanding period of growth.
Ideally the successful candidate will already be working at a senior account handling level, however outstanding Senior Account Managers ready to take the next step in their career may also be considered. In-house experience will be viewed favourably; however it is essential that all applicants have a solid background in agency employment. Whilst not critical, experience in the therapeutic areas of diabetes and / or cardiovascular disease would be beneficial.
